Ah, here we are a few days later. MY car repairs went fine. The cooling system didn't leak a drop. The car doesn't overheat anymore. But the pricy VOLVO SPECIALIST's car repairs of two weeks ago (to the exhaust system) were lacking. They didn't replace this rubber muffler hanger when they replaced the back of the exhaust system in June 2001, or when they replaced the header pipes and cat converter in Aug 2002. Lame. The hanger failed on our way to buy a new car.
Here I'm trying to hack something together so we can get home. In the car dealer's lot. (I'd bought a spare rubber thingee from IPD, but didn't bring it with me, so I used an S-hook from a bungee cord.)
