The Prospect School (where the turkey appears to live) has a web page about the turkey.
Elizabeth and I spot turkey footprints in the snow of our driveway.
I like the turkey, so I make a web page about her.

Am I guilty of harboring the turkey?
The Oberlin News-Tribune story is too long for me to type in, but here's a scan of the turkey article.
There was also a letter from one of the town's younger citizens:
To the editor:
Please save the turkey. Give it to the MetroParks. It became a part of our lives, it lives in the chimney of the Prospect School
Our collie, Shadow, was on a run in the front yard of our house. The turkey was on the other side of the street. The turkey came across and started pecking Shadow. Shadow was so scared, she pooped herself. My mom said it was kind of funny, but we felt bad for Shadow, too.
The librarian of Prospect School lives a couple houses down. She has a little dog. She was walking down the street. The turkey chased them down the street. Now she carries a stick when she walks her dog
One morning Shadow woke us up; she was barking at the turkey. The Turkey was in our back yard. It was funny.
Other people in Oberlin have stories, too. I bey you don't want to hear them all, that would take all night. We would take all the stories about the turkey and make a book. We would put the book of stories with the turkey at the MetroParks. Then everyone can hear the stoiries. Please save the turkey.
